Troubleshooting: Update Checksums
Checksums are usually calculated automatically. However, if the database is changed outside the User Manager, problems occur when logging on to the Chromeleon client. To correct these problems, select Update Checksums on the File menu (in the User Manager) to recalculate the checksums of the CmUser Database. The CmUser History Viewer allows you to check the changes.
Tip:
You must use the current version of the User Manager (CmUser Program). Using an older version to access the CmUser database may destroy the checksums and thus cause problems when logging on to the Chromeleon client. If this occurs, open the database, using the current version of the User Manager, and then select the Update Checksums command.
